About me

Stuart Reeves

Paramedic / Trainer

My enduring enthusiasm for learning first aid and lifesaving skills has been a fundamental aspect of my life since childhood. As a member of the Scouts, St John Ambulance, and the Royal Life Saving Society, I seized every opportunity to participate in courses and acquire various qualifications and awards. This commitment ultimately propelled me to become a Lifesaving Trainer Assessor and later a First Aid Trainer, enabling me to instruct aspiring lifesavers and share my knowledge across diverse organisations and industries.

For the past 22 years, I have been employed full-time by the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust in several capacities, including 999 Call Handler/Dispatcher, Ambulance Paramedic, British Heart Foundation Community Resuscitation Development Officer, and Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) Paramedic. Currently, I serve as the Resilience and Specialist Operations Manager, where I manage two HART teams operating in the East of England and fulfil the roles of Paramedic, incident commander and strategic advisor as a National Interagency Liaison Officer (NILO).

I prioritise maintaining current knowledge of the guidelines established by The Resuscitation Council UK and continually seek opportunities to enhance my experience in delivering high-quality patient care. This dedication allows me to remain actively involved in the subjects I teach and provide practical insights that enrich the training experience.

My goal is to ensure that first aid and lifesaving courses are diverse, engaging, and tailored to the specific industries of the participants, regardless of their background and/or prior experience.

At REEVES MEDICAL, we offer a range of comprehensive and customised first aid courses designed to equip individuals with the knowledge, understanding, and practical experience necessary to respond effectively to common emergencies in various environments, whether at home, in the workplace, or within the community. Our team of experienced first aid trainers is committed to guiding participants through every facet of their selected course in a supportive and friendly atmosphere, employing effective teaching methods while encouraging active participation in practical demonstrations.
